GF-Clarinet Reflector

 

The GF Clarinet Reflector reflects the sounds coming out of the clarinet bowl back to your ear, in this way you hear your clarinet in a way you have never heard it before. You hear your instrument very directly, louder, more centred and you can thus phrase your sounds very well.
The GF Clarinet Reflector is particularly suitable for rooms which are dampened and have poor acoustics. Even outside with this you hear your clarinet excellently! In an orchestra you will enjoy the moment the “tutti point” comes and still always hear yourself very well.
The GF Clarinet Reflector can be very well implemented when practising, in a recording studio, at live-gigs and always where you want to hear a little more clarinet. The click lock allows an easy mounting of the GF Clarinet Reflector onto the clarinet bowl ready for playing. You will be amazed!

Mount the rubber tension ring on to the 3 grooves of the reflector centre pin supports. Fix the clarinet bowl on to 2 grooves of the reflector centre pin supports and tip it into the third groove.
The rubber tension ring has to overlie the bottom of the bowl, ready! 		The self-adhesive * foam rubber spots can, for example, be stuck on to the music stand and you can put the reflector on that in the break.
Screw the 3 reflector centre pin supports on to the 3 threaded pins and gently screw tight.

How do I calculate the size of my GF Reflector if my clarinet model is not in the comparison chart?

1. Measure the exact outer diameter of the clarinet bowl on the side where the sound comes out using a ruler or a slide rule e.g. 80 millimetres, add 4 millimetres to it (=84 millimetres). Its size is GFR-84.

2. Now we need the thickness of the bowl rim, which is graded in 5 groups 1.5/2.5/3.5/4.5/5.5. This you can measure with a template which every retail pack of the GF Reflector contains. Put the bowl rim into the various grooves and determine which fits best. The thickness of the bowl rim is correct if horizontally and vertically there is almost no room. If you measure 2.5 attach the 2.5 to your GFR-84 – i.e. “GFR-84-2.5”. That is your exact order number for the GF Reflector. You are also welcome to order the template from us at info@gfsystem.de or you down load it there. You only have to neatly cut out the 1.5 to 5.5 with a pair of scissors. Ready!
